I cast my ballot this morning. Number 260 something. The machine I used was branded Diebold, which I found a bit curious as I thought that division was re-branded Premier Election Solutions. Either way, no Simpsons-esque horror story ensued about my vote being switched.
The New York Times has a neat interactive word train about how voters are feeling today. Check it out here. Choose a single word to describe your mood and it is (eventually) incorporated into the graphic. It is this kind of interaction that newspapers all around the country need to be implementing into their reader base. Getting into that is another story for another time.
Also on the NYT website is a very intuitive election map.
Coudal Partners really set the mood of the day on their homepage. They are always finding the best stuff. Direct link if you're reading this after today.
